Floral Delivery App

Project Overview

In the iOS app store, there are very few results for local floral delivery apps. The ones that are available are not user-friendly and have a confusing user interface. My goal in this project was to design an app that is simplistic, visually pleasing, and functional for someone who wants an efficient way to send flowers via a mobile device.

My Contributions

I was responsible for this project alone. This included research, personas and empathy mapping, information architecture, wireframes, and design comps.

Competitive Analysis

To look at the current market, I downloaded similar delivery service apps with lots of ratings. After exploring the user reviews and navigating their interfaces, I was able to define their strengths and weaknesses.

Persona

Based on the user reviews of delivery service apps, I created a persona to resemble the average customer.

Information Architecture

Before diving into wireframing, I made a simple information architecture to create an outline for my app.

Wireframing

I adapted a set of wireframes before I began designing the high-fidelity prototypes. I created my wireframes for a mobile device because the app is intended to reach a younger target audience.

Prototype

Below are some of the key screens and elements created for the final prototype.
