LaBear’s Midnight Snack

Project Overview

The Big Dipper is an ice cream shop located in the heart of the small town of Prospect, Connecticut. At LaBonne’s Markets, they carry Big Dipper ice cream in quarts on their shelves. In a collaboration between LaBonne’s Markets and the Big Dipper, I was tasked with creating a label design for their brand new ice cream.

My Contributions

The logo for the Big Dipper was designed many years ago by another designer. All other elements of this project I was responsible for myself. This includes the illustration design, typography, color palette, and placement of each element. I also ran a social media campaign for the ice cream and created a promo video announcing the ice cream.

Tools Used

I used both Photoshop and Illustrator to complete the label design. The image that was sent to me needed heavy editing. After editing the image, the remainder of the project was carried out through Illustrator. To create the promo video, I used Adobe Premiere Pro.
