Experience Math Covers and Thumbnails

Project Objective

The objective of this project was to create visually captivating covers and online thumbnails for our newly acquired Canadian program, Experience Math (formerly known as MathUp in Canada).

Sampler Covers and Thumbnails

I embarked on the task of crafting sampler covers, and thumbnails, using Photoshop and InDesign. These initial designs served as a platform for experimentation, allowing us to explore various color palettes and design directions. The images below show the thumbnails I designed for the initial sample launch of the program. Below these, you’ll see the sampler covers which was a team collaboration.

Research and Design Direction

Through extensive research and collaboration with a vendor, we identified the Mathscapes style as the most fitting design direction for our project. This style not only resonated with our target audience but also provided a visually engaging representation of mathematical concepts.

Refinement and Collaboration

Numerous brainstorming sessions and meetings were dedicated to refining our Mathscapes designs. We needed to ensure that each design was relatable, age-appropriate, and intricately linked to mathematical themes. Collaborative efforts were instrumental in fine-tuning every aspect of the covers and thumbnails.

Finalization and Implementation

Once the Mathscapes designs were finalized, we seamlessly transitioned them into various formats, including RLZ thumbnails and banners. These versatile assets were intended for deployment across all our programs, ensuring a cohesive visual identity and consistent brand representation.
