Smoothie App Design

After much research, designing, and prototyping I am proud to present this redesigned smoothie app. In this project, I created a functional and beautifully designed prototype, with over 80 screens of content.

Some of the notable features our app has is the ability to filter smoothies by category, see the smoothie’s ingredients, and read reviews on each recipe. View my functional prototype on the link below.

User Research and Competitive Analysis

Before designing anything, I did a competitive analysis of our app versus others on the market. This helped me determine what our app needed to stand out.

Then, I conducted extensive user research. I did over 8 interviews, empathy maps, and a Google survey that had over 200 responses. Click the button below to see the research I conducted more in-depth.

Wireframes and Information Architecture

Once I had my user research conducted, I created an information architecture of how the app is going to be navigated. From there, I was able to build wireframes for each screen.

As designers, the more options the better. That is why I created three different design routes before deciding on my final design. Check them out in detail by clicking below!
